CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for an experienced NDT Condition Monitoring Technician to work on our Heavy Mobile Equipment fleet at our Cape Preston operations. Although you will be based in the Workshop frequent field work is required for this position. This permanent position is offered on a 9/5 FIFO roster from Perth. The Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Senior Reliability Engineer, this position is responsible for providing a predictive maintenance approach to the heavy mobile fleet’s ongoing preventative maintenance. This will be done through the implementation and use of various condition monitoring methodologies and health reporting tools.
The Condition Monitoring Technician will have extensive skills and experience in the fields of non-destructive testing (NDT) crack and flaw detection, Eddy Current and ultrasonic thickness testing with a minimum Level 2 qualification.
Additional qualifications in vibration analysis, oil analysis or infrared thermography will also be highly regarded
The successful applicant will be trade qualified or from a reliability engineering background with extensive condition monitoring experience, preferably from a mobile equipment background. Knowledge of maintenance systems is essential, with SAP experience preferred.
- 5 years’ experience minimum
- Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant and Ultrasonic Testing is mandatory for this position
- A current WA C Class manual driver's licence
