The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining seek an experienced Trainer SAP Systems for a permanent site based role at our Cape Preston operation. This is on a 9/5 Roster and is FIFO from Perth. It is a great opportunity to join our established Training team and deliver SAP programs to key users across multiple business units across our project.

Reporting to the Principal – Strategy & Projects, this role is responsible for the delivery of SAP programs to key users and end users, specifically the MM, PM, Payroll and Success Factors modules across the business.  

The role also requires day to day creation and upkeep of training plans and schedules for the training department including building and maintaining the master data inputs enabling accurate training plans and schedules, to be developed and executed appropriately. You will liaise with Production and Maintenance training Coordinators and Supervisors, to ensure planning and scheduling of training requirements are adhered too. Training programs will be tailored to the target audience and business unit’s requirements.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering Materials Management and Procurement Management, SAP training. You will also ideally have exposure to Payroll and Success Factor’s too
  • Be able to produce training plans and schedules that interface with the business needs and individual requirements
  • Certificate IV TAE 40104 or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with a real eye for detail
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • A team player with solid coaching/mentoring abilities
