The Opportunity

We’re seeking a driven Light Equipment (LV) Fitter to support our Site Support Services team. This permanent position is offered on a 2/1 roster (7 nights, 7 days, 7 off) FIFO from Perth.

Reporting to the Supervisor – Light Equipment, this role will assist with the maintenance and repair of light vehicles, Gen Sets, Pumps and other ancillary light equipment as required.  Daily tasks will include the servicing, repair and overhaul of mechanical parts such as engines, transmissions, (clutch, gearbox and differential) and suspension systems (springs, steering, brakes, wheels & tyres).

We would like applications from individuals with at least 5 years proven experience as an LV Fitter, preferably with 4x4 experience, or heavy road transport experience within a mining or large scale workshop environment. You will need to understand and abide by Mine Site Procedures and Protocols with a safety first attitude.


  • Current WA drivers licence (HR licence is desirable)
  • Cert III Automotive Mechanical Technology Trade Certificate
  • Own Hand Tools


  • Heavy Vehicle Road Transport experience;
  • Forklift ticket;
  • EWP ticket;
  • Automotive air conditioning (ARTIC) licence;
  • Working Safely at Heights ticket;
  • Dogging and Rigging ticket;
  • SAP or Equilivent experience is beneficial.
