CPM is the company behind Sino Iron, already Australia’s largest magnetite operation, located on Western Australia’s Pilbara coast, south of Karratha.

We’re spearheading a new downstream processing industry for the nation, transforming magnetite iron ore into a high-grade, premium export product.

Sino Iron is a fully integrated operation – featuring a mine serviced by the biggest haul trucks in the world, a six-line concentrator and port terminal facilities at nearby Cape Preston. Our state-of-the-art power station and desalination plant are among the largest in the State.

The opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Travel & Site Access Coordinator for our Perth office on a 12 month Fixed Term contract.

Reporting to the Manager - Facilities & Logistics, this role is responsible for providing an efficient travel and site access service to internal CITIC Pacific Mining employees and external Contractors. Responsibilities will include charter & commercial flight bookings, camp movements, International travel and mobilisation of new starters.

The Requirements:

We are seeking applications from candidates with a flexible work ethic as there will be a requirement to work on-call and variable working hours. This dynamic team environment will be an excellent opportunity to showcase your investigating, trouble shooting and follow up skills with the ability to prioritise a high work load and multi-tasking. Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner are essential for this role. Knowledge of SAM (Site Administration Management) and travel industry knowledge are desirable but not essential. Strong Microsoft Outlook skills are essential.

  • A copy of all current qualifications / licences must be provided at the time of interview.
  • A current WA Manual Drivers licence is an essential requirement
