The opportunity

We’re seeking a driven Supervisor for the Light Equipment Workshop at our Cape Preston Operations. This is a permanent role, dayshift only FIFO roster, from Perth.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Oversee and assist in the formulation and review of JHEA’s as per CPM site procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Supervise the execution of the weekly maintenance plan, and breakdown repairs as required.
  • Provide instruction, assistance, direction and on the job training to Leading Hands, tradespersons, apprentices, trainees and maintenance personnel in the performance of their duties.
  • Maintain legible, coherent and accurate documentation relating to goods requisitions, work order management, and backlog maintenance records.
  • Maintain CMS {SAP} application in relation to workflow process.
  • Responsible for audit and maintenance of workshop tooling and equipment to standard.
  • Review standard work procedures on a regular basis with maintenance teams, and submit review recommendations to Superintendent.

To be successful in the role you will have:

You will possess a relevant maintenance trade qualifications with demonstrated supervisory experience, preferably within the resources sector. As well as:

  • Strong light equipment maintenance experience and be willing to share this knowledge;
  • A high level of computer literacy required - SAP experience highly desirable;
  • Experience with Continuous improvement projects particularly within the LV maintenance environment will be highly regarded
  • A current WA HR Drivers Licence is essential.
