The Opportunity

We’re seeking a driven and experienced Coordinator – Maintenance (Milling Area) to support our Processing team. This is your chance to be part of something new and exciting in the Pilbara.  This role will be on a permanent basis, 8/6 FIFO day shift roster FIFO from Perth to Cape Preston.

The Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance you are responsible for ensuring safety in the area by continuously assessing risks, overseeing maintenance work groups' adherence to safety procedures, and recommending improvements.

This role involves coordinating plant shutdowns, reviewing maintenance schedules, ensuring availability of spare parts, and minimizing interface interruptions for efficient maintenance. The position aims to complete planned maintenance in a timely manner, supporting the team with achieving their KPIs, and may require stepping up as Maintenance Supervisor when needed. Tasks also include conducting regular checks, ensuring adherence to preventative maintenance schedules, and compliance with company policies.

To be successful in the role you must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a mine site.
• Engineering certificate or degree – Mechanical
• Current Western Australian Drivers Licence
• High Risk Licence - Forklift (FL) Elevated Work Platform (EWP) & Non-Slewing Crane (CN)
• Working at heights and Confined space certificate
• SAP experience preferred.
