The opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is currently recruiting for Heavy Duty Mobile Plant Mechanics, Heavy Duty Road Transport Mechanics, and Heavy Duty Qualified Fitters (LV Mechanics)  to join our HME (Heavy Mobile Equipment) maintenance team.  The roles will be on a FIFO 2/1 roster (continuous shift) from Perth.

CITIC Pacific Mining are willing to train and mentor applicants to gain their Heavy duty mobile plant mechanic Certification.

Reporting to the HME Supervisors, these roles are responsible for:

  • Planned Maintenance services, repairs and general maintenance tasks on a range of mobile plant equipment including diesel electric haul trucks, wheel loaders, graders, track dozers
  • Services, repairs and general maintenance tasks on a range of mobile plant equipment including Pit viper 351, SKF15 Drills, RH170, RH 340, RH400/6090 Shovels
  • Workshop and Field services whilst liaising with equipment operators on potential problems and technical errors.
  • Conduct inspections and adjustments
  • Complete all tasks in an efficient and safe manner

You will be hardworking and enthusiastic coupled with a can do, team player attitude.  You will have recently qualified with:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (Australian Recognised)
  • High Risk Work Licence
  • A current WA Manual Drivers licence (this is an essential requirement.)

A copy of all current qualifications / licences must be provided at the time of interview.
