CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking experienced Occupational Hygiene Specialist to join our site-based team on a permanent 8/6 roster, FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the Principal Hygienist, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on the compliance of operational controls designed to reduce risk to human health.

Fulfill the duties of Mine Air Quality Officer (MAQO), and Noise Officer (NO) and conduct project work. Act as SME for risk assessments. Audit, and improve system gaps. Mentor site leadership and OHA’s.

Successful applicant will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Health Science, chemistry, engineering or similar with demonstrated previous experience working in mining / resources environment.
• Technical and practical skills in Occupational Hygiene with demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of exposure reduction strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders in hygiene related initiatives or matters.
• Full AIOH membership is preferred.
• Knowledge of WA mining health and safety legislation
• A current WA Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
