The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Senior Dewatering (Mine Services) Technician to support our Dewatering team. This role reports to the Mine & Maintenance Supervisor and is offered on a 2/1 Dayshift roster, FIFO from Perth.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Hands on Leadership role of small crew and relief of leading hand as required
- Installation, removal, and maintenance activities on diesel centrifugal pumps
- Fabrication and installation of HDPE pipelines and components for the in pit and ex pit dewatering requirements
- Installation and removal of submersible pumps
- Daily checks and condition reporting of dewatering assets
To be successful in the role you will have:
- 3 years’ experience in open cut mine dewatering role is an essential requirement
- A current HR Licence is an essential requirement (HC Licence advantageous)
- Poly welding Ticket is an essential requirement
- HRWL – Dogman, Rigging is an essential requirement
- C6/Franna Crane and Forklift would be advantageous
- Front End Loader or Telehandler tickets would be advantageous
