The opportunity

Are you looking to launch your corporate career while you finish your degree? We’re seeking a motivated Corporate Office & Business Services Trainee to join our Perth-based Executive Office team.

This newly created, 2-year program is designed for undergraduate students to gain real-world experience in a global business. You’ll build a strong foundation in office operations and business administration, all while putting your English and Chinese language skills to use in a professional setting.

 

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting day-to-day office operations and general administrative functions.
  • Managing office supplies and fixed asset coordination.
  • Coordinating meetings and provide administrative, secretarial and logistical support.
  • Assisting with basic governance and compliance administration.
  • Participating in internal training on workplace professionalism and corporate systems.
  • Bridge the gap, use your growing bilingual skills to assist with cross-border communication.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Be a current undergraduate student at UWA, Curtin, ECU, Murdoch or Notre Dame University.
  • Ideally be majoring in Chinese Studies or a related field. (Some Chinese learning experience preferred)
  • Be able to commit to 2- 3 days per week for the 2-year program duration.
  • Have a solid grasp of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Canva is a bonus!
