The Opportunity
Cape Preston Port Company (CPPC) is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our Port Maintenance Planning team on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
Reporting to the Superintendent – Planning & Reliability, you’ll play a key role in supporting Port Operations by leading planning processes, coordinating stakeholders, and driving maintenance performance across the port.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise Weekly Planners & Marine Planners and lead planning processes
- Coordinate maintenance planning processes and routines.
- Analyse SAP data to track KPIs and drive performance improvements
- Lead KPI review meetings and identify improvement opportunities
- Maintain SAP master data and planning system integrity
- Support audits, reporting, and administrative requirements
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across Port Operations
- Coach planners and promote best-practice planning processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide ad-hoc support for marine fleet compliance projects
Successful applicant will have:
- Trade or Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
- Proven experience in maintenance/work management planning
- Solid understanding of asset and work management principles
- Proficient in SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of WHS and environmental systems and legislation
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
- Familiarity with MPM (Marine Planned Maintenance) for Windows (desirable).
