The Opportunity
CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking experienced Health and Injury Coordinator to join our Health and Safety team on a permanent 8/6 roster, FIFO ex Perth.
Reporting to the Manager – Health & Injury Management, this position is responsible for managing work and non-work-related injuries and illnesses, applying effective early intervention strategies to all cases to achieve the best possible outcomes. The role will also involve working closely with the Health and Safety team on Health and Wellbeing projects.
In this role you’ll be required to provide efficient and effective injury management services, accurate and timely advice on injury management and workers compensation issues to the business. Strong communication skills are essential as you will liaise with a large number of key stakeholders which include; doctors, other medical professionals, Contractors, Workers' Compensation Insurers, Human Resources and the Health and Safety Team
Successful applicant will have:
- Working knowledge of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act and Regulations 2023
- Workers Compensation Case Management experience
- Coordinating onsite Health and Wellness Programs
- Relevant Tertiary education
- A current WA Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
