The Opportunity
We’re seeking a driven Crushing & Screening Plant Operator to support our mining team. This a permanent role on a 2/1day shift only roster, FIFO from Perth to our site at Cape Preston.
Reporting to the Supervisor Crushing & Screening, this position will operate and maintain track mounted crushing & screening plant and all associated equipment such as stackers and conveyors.
This role will also operate a variety of mobile equipment inc. Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Skid Steers, Water Carts, Moxy and Rock Breakers.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Day-to-day operating and running of the mobile crushing circuit.
- Assisting with the servicing and daily maintenance of the equipment and reporting any defects to the supervisor.
- The safe pre-start, operation and running of mobile crushing circuit and associated plant.
As the successful candidate you’ll have the following:
- Mobile crushing plant operating experience ideally Metso.
- Ability to operate excavators Komatsu PC490, wheel loaders CAT 980 and Komatsu WA600 or equivalent.
- Experience with minor plant maintenance desirable.
- A current WA HR Drivers licence is an essential requirement.
- Front end loader and excavator tickets preferred.
- Working at heights and confined space tickets desirable.
