CITIC Pacific Mining has partnered with Programmed Training Services and is excited to offer the following apprenticeship opportunities in the mining heavy mobile equipment area which specialises in the servicing and repair of some of the biggest mobile fleet.
These are site-based positions FIFO from Perth on a 2 weeks on/1 week off roster.
CITIC Pacific Mining has a proven record of developing our own highly skilled tradespersons by providing you with a comprehensive practical and theoretical training base.
The methodical program incrementally develops apprentices by gradually exposing them to various aspects of Mining and Heavy Mobile Equipment Maintenance. This structured approach ensures their development is tailored and controlled, fostering steady growth and skill acquisition
The apprenticeship will be a 4-year term.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Maintenance, you will be exposed to diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs and general maintenance tasks on the world’s largest mobile plant equipment including;
- HR400/6090 Shovels
- RH170 and RH340 excavators
- L2350 Komatsu loader
- MT6300/4400/3300 diesel electric haul trucks
- Autonomous drills
- D10, D11 dozers, 16/24M graders
To be eligible to be considered as a potential candidate, you will:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Completed secondary schooling to year 12 or employment history post year 10.
- Ability to adapt to working 12 hours shifts.
- Must hold a current WA driver’s licence.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Favourable to have begun or completed a Pre-Apprenticeship course relative to the trade you are applying.
