The Opportunity

CPM is seeking an experienced Lead Procurement Specialist with strong leadership experience in Purchasing, P2P, and Supply Chain functions to join our Perth based Purchasing team. This full-time permanent role is based in our Perth office (St Georges Terrace), with occasional travel to our Cape Preston mine site.

In this role, you will support the Manager Procurement in overseeing daily operational procurement activities, including purchasing, sourcing materials and services, and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery in line with Company policies. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the Procure-to-Pay function.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven leadership experience managing a Procurement team and day-to-day P2P operations
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes, commercial principles, and supply management
• Understanding of operational, maintenance, and warehouse requirements for mining parts and consumables
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory procurement role within large-scale mining or similar
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Demonstrated proficiency in SAP Materials Management and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to understand and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Maintenance, Operations, and Finance
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in procurement processes

Qualifications/Certificates

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain or a related field
• Certificates in frontline management, negotiations or issue resolution
• Professional certificates such as MCIPS or equivalent
