CITIC Pacific Mining is the developer and operator of the Sino Iron project, a world class magnetite processing operation at Cape Preston, 100km south west of Karratha in Western Australia. An industrial megaproject, Sino Iron is already the largest magnetite mining, processing and export operation in Australia, shipping a premium concentrate product to overseas steel mills. Dedicated infrastructure includes the concentrator area, port facilities, a combined-cycle gas-fired power station, desalination plant and 30km slurry pipeline. With a mine life of more than 30 years, Sino Iron heralds a new downstream industry for Western Australia, delivering significant socio-economic benefits to the community for decades to come.
CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for a Learning Designer to develop courses for internal customer audience based on the needs of the course and method of delivery. This role is offered on a 12 month maximum term basis working in our Perth office.
The Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent – Leadership Training, you will be investigating and evaluating new technologies that complement the needs and delivery of the courses to continuously improve learning experience for the internal customers. You will also be responsible of the E-learning development including instructional design, content development and its management.
- You will be either a recent graduate in Web design, multimedia or related subject or have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role to plan, create, develop and manage training programs
- Proven track record in e-learning development and instructional design
- Experience in training coordination, Learning Management System, Microsoft suites and other product suites as such Articulate, Adobe Captivate and/or Storyline.
- High Attention to detail with great time management skills
- A current WA Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
Occasional travel required for this position.
