CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for Statutory Appointed Supervisor – Electrical for our Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) maintenance department at our Cape Preston Sino Iron Project. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and lead a team of electrical maintenance personnel in this fast paced environment. This permanent full-time role attracts a 9 days on, 5 days off FIFO roster from Perth.
The Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent – HME Maintenance, this role is responsible for overseeing all HME electrical maintenance activities relating to Mobile Plant and associated fixed Infrastructure on site. You will ensure Mining Operations Electrical Regulatory compliance with the respective regulations.
This role is all about leadership. We are seeking applications from highly skilled individuals with relevant electrical trade qualifications and previous experience in a supervisory position. You will have had significant exposure to large open pit mining mobile equipment and experience in leading large teams. You will have a strong safety culture and ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.
Personally, you must have advanced communication skills (written & verbal) and have good people management skills. Computer literacy is required with candidates possessing exposure to SAP highly regarded.
