The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking experienced Field Leading Hand to support our HME Maintenace Team. This is a permanent position on a 2/1 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the Supervisor -Truck & Ancillary, this role is responsible for the supervision of tradesmen, contractors, and service personnel.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Providing instruction, assistance and direction to all service persons, field trades persons, apprentices, and trainees in the performance of their duties.
• Monitoring lubrication SOS reports from caterpillar oil commander, Hitachi wear check and /or any other oil analysis system.
• Submitting weekly periodical servicing schedule.
• Be responsible for workshop tooling used by the service persons, advising the workshop supervisor of any workshop tooling that is unsafe.
• Safety performance as measured by safety incidents and lead indicators, such as inspections and safety interactions.
• Participating in performance monitoring and reviews.
• Participating in safety and communication meetings.
• Monitoring and updating service boards and plans daily. Liaising with maintenance supervisor on a daily basis to unsure correct servicing occurs.

Successful applicant will have:

• A current WA HR Licence.
• At least 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role with proven leadership experience.
• An Australian recognised trade certificate
• SAP leading hand level user knowledge
• Current HRWL
• First Aid certificate
