We are seeking a proactive and experienced Procurement Officer to join our Perth-based Commercial team. If you have solid exposure to the Asia-Pacific supply market and a strong grasp of P2P processes and SAP systems, we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will support the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to managing purchase orders within an assigned portfolio.
This role is key in ensuring value-driven supplier selection and promoting best practices across procurement and P2P functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated purchasing support to both Site and Perth-based teams.
- Identify cost-saving and value-adding opportunities in supplier agreements.
- Ensure purchased goods meet quality standards and delivery requirements.
- Create and manage purchase orders in SAP, considering price, quality, and timelines.
- Guide stakeholders through CPM’s Procure-to-Pay and Commercial processes.
- Monitor delivery schedules and liaise with site teams, suppliers, and contractors.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
About you
We welcome applications from individuals with:
- Proven experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement in the resources sector.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP materials management or similar ERP systems.
- Expertise in Procure-to-Pay and Commercial processes.
- The ability to implement sourcing strategies that drive value and positive commercial outcomes.
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- A mechanical background or experience with component repair and maintenance programs would be a bonus.
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business, finance, or a related field are highly desirable.
