The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our HME team on a permanent 2/1 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the Supervisor – Fabrication, this role is responsible for the general fabrication and boilermaker repairs on Graders, Dump Trucks, Dozers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, and Drills.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe and clean workplace.
• Inspecting and repair shovel buckets.
• Refurbishment of Dump Truck trays
• Adhering to company policy and procedures
• Attending and participate in HME safety meetings.
• Maintaining all mobile plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Completing all preventative maintenance scheduled checks and adjustments of equipment.

Successful applicant will have:

• Current WA HR drivers licence is essential
• Current HRWL containing LF, WP, & DG
• Good understanding of Heavy Mobile Equipment Boilermaker and Fabrication
• Mobile maintenance experience
• Experience with air-arc gouging
• Experience with multiple welding processes, Innersheid welding (232,233,XLR-8) and Flux cored wires (3XP-H4, 71-EH, 81ni etc.)
• Previous mining/resources industry experience
• Heavy mobile equipment experience
• Engineering tradesperson qualification – Fabrication (Boilermaker/Welder)
• Working at Heights & Confined Space ticket
